Will Norris is a software engineer with extensive experience in Identity Management and federated identity technologies such as OpenID and SAML. He work in higher education for a number of years focusing on enterprise wide solutions for identity consolidation, account provisioning, federated single sign-on, and tightly managed access controls. He remains an active contributor to the Internet2 consortium by serving as a member of the core development team for Shibboleth, an open source single sign-on product used by hundreds of institutions worldwide.
He is also one of the lead developers of the DiSo Project, which aims to develop the protocols and libraries necessary to support user interactions within and across the traditional boundaries of social networks.
