He spent much of his time on enterprise wide solutions for identity consolidation, account provisioning, federated single sign-on, and very finely controlled access to identity data by end-user applications. He was an active contributer to the Internet2 consortium, serving as a member of the core development team for Shibboleth, an popular open source single sign-on product. He still continues to contribute to the project, but in a slightly lesser capacity.
