wp-microid is a Wordpress plug-in to aid in verifying ownership of your site using MicroID. This is certainly not a unique idea, but rather builds on previous implementations in order to build a better mousetrap. This plugin offers much more flexibility in handling URIs of different types as well as optionally adding appropriate MicroIDs to individual blog posts and comments.
Installation & Usage
Simply drop the file into your plugins folder, activate it, and go configure it in the “Options” window. You can add an arbitrary Identity URI such as an email address mailto:username@gmail.com, a Jabber ID xmpp:burdell@jabber.org, an i-name xri://=will.norris, etc. Alternately, the plugin can just pull an Identity URI from the admin user’s data.
